Description

This position requires a highly motivated and experienced tax professional to prepare tax returns for individuals and small businesses in the creative and performing arts industries. Candidates must be proficient in current tax law with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Able to work independently with outstanding attention to detail and accuracy. Must be tech-savvy and have experience with online tax software. MS Excel experience is required. We are 100% remote. The ideal candidate must have access to a workspace that ensures privacy and data security and has a dedicated internet connection.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in tax preparation
• Adept in current tax law
• Private and secure workspace and equipment
• First-rate verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Solid organizational and interpersonal abilities
• Strong time and project management aptitude
• Ability to work independently, keep commitments, and fulfill work obligations on a timely basis
• Proficient with ProSeries Tax Software or similar tax solution
• Working knowledge of Excel required
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks a Plus
• Must provide checkable references relevant to the position.
